Dear BCS Parents/Athletes, Due to a late notification of a positive COVID-19 case in the Dundee Central School District, and out of an abundance of caution, all practices between combined Bradford/Dundee athletic teams had to be cancelled this afternoon on very short notice. In order to allow time for proper contact tracing to occur, practices involving combined teams will be cancelled tomorrow, Friday, April 30th. The coaches for each combined team will let their athletes know if they plan to run a separate BCS practice. We do apologize for any inconvenience experienced by our athletes, families and coaching staff. Please stay safe and vigilant in your efforts to combat COVID-19. Dear BCS Families, Please be advised that we had a confirmed positive COVID-19 case yesterday at the middle/high school level. All impacted families have been contacted and students who had to quarantine as a result of being deemed a close contact, have shifted to remote learning. As a District we have had an excellent run in terms of limited numbers of positive cases, as well as the number of students/staff having to quarantine, however, this should serve as a reminder that the threat of COVID-19 still exists. It is critical that we continue to take precautionary procedures, such as masking, distancing and sanitization, seriously. Please note that the student who tested positive did not contract the virus here at school. To the very best of our knowledge, there have been no cases of COVID spread linked directly to the school. PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that qualified voters of the District may obtain applications for an absentee ballot from the office of the Clerk of the District. Completed applications must be received by the Clerk of the District no later than 3:30 p.m. on May 18, 2021.

Petitions nominating candidates for the office of member of the Board of Education must be filed with the Clerk of the District between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm, but not later than 3:30 pm on April 19, 2021. The following vacancies are to be filled: 5-year term ending June 30, 2026 presently open Each petition must be addressed to the Clerk of the District, be signed by at least 25 qualified voters of the District, shall state the residence of each signer, the name and address of the candidate.

We apologize for the confusion regarding pictures taken yesterday. In order to ensure that all students were featured in the Yearbook, we requested that our school photographer come back to take pictures of any student that was missed in the fall. The primary purpose for these pictures was the Yearbook, however, if your child had their picture taken yesterday and you would like to consider ordering a package, you can still do so by visiting inter-state.com/order and entering code: 58396XA. There will be a spring picture re-take day in the next few weeks where students can have their picture re-taken, if they wish, and parents can order at that time also.
