Hello students and families! This is a reminder that phase 2 will be ending on Friday, May 1. All materials from phase 2 will collected on Monday, May 4 and new learning packets for phase 3 will be delivered at the same time. Please have materials outside, clearly labeled and ready Monday morning. 📒📘 We will avoid all human contact. As you know, people in nursing homes have not been able to have visitors. Also, as of today all people are required to wear a mask or facial covering when in public and where social distancing is difficult. Dear Community Members, We have been asked to post the following information by the New York State of Health. This is not a District service, but rather information on how to apply for health insurance in the event your coverage has been compromised. Any employee of the District with health insurance questions should contact Deb Stephens. Thank you.

Dear Students, Parents and Staff, We received notification earlier today of (2) important developments regarding our current school closure. First, school will remain closed through April 28th. As of now the earliest we would return to school would be on April 29th. This date is subject to change depending on the health and safety conditions being experienced in our area or throughout NYS. We also were informed that all Regents Exams in June 2020 have been cancelled. We expect to receive further guidance on this matter in the coming days. As of right now we do not know what this means in terms of graduation implications or if students will be expected to make these exams up in the future. Thank you for your patience and understanding during these uncertain times. Wishing you all health and safety. John Marshall Superintendent

April 3, 2020 Dear Members of the Community, Please be advised that we have been instructed by Schuyler County to prohibit gatherings of adults or students on our school campus. Some examples given were to prohibit pick-up basketball games, groups of children on playground equipment etc. It was suggested we shut our campus down completely, but we’d like to allow a community member to walk on the track or a parent and child to use the playground as long as we possibly can. We ask that anyone who is on the school campus needs to adhere to social distancing guidelines. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Stay safe and healthy everyone. Can you help? As we are continuing to strive to meet the needs of our students, the district is interested in re-assessing the current availability of high-speed internet within the community. If you have students that currently attend the district, we would appreciate your assistance in completing this brief, 3 question survey: https://brdfrd.com/2R3b9BE. All responses are confidential and will only be used by designated district staff.
