Congratulations Gabe, Mayson and Nick on successfully completing your Level 1 Logging Chainsaw Training course at BOCES. If we ever need to tell a tree we’ll know who to call.
The BCS Fitness Center is opening today.
Wishing all of you a happy, hearty and safe Thanksgiving with your family and friends. We will see you again on Monday, albeit, a little bit rounder than before we left.
The Bradford CSD Fitness Center will once again be open to the public beginning Monday, November 29th. The center will be open from 4:30-6:30pm on Monday and Wednesday of each week. If the school is closed on one of these days the center will not open. The school hallways will also be available
to community members who would like to walk. You must be (18) years of age to use the center and a liability waiver needs to be signed. Please remember masks must be worn at all times when inside the school building. Happy walking, running and lifting.
Congratulations Mason on being named the Student of the Month in your BOCES Heavy Equipment program. We are proud of you!
Reminder, there is a vaccination clinic being offered to anyone age 5 and older today at the school between 9am and noon. Both Moderna and Pfizer vaccines are available and this clinic can accommodate initial and booster vaccinations. Thank you.
Dear Air Supply,
If a parent/guardian calls the school today at (607) 583-4616 can they still schedule a time to meet with their child’s teacher on this Parent/Teacher Conference Day? Anxiously awaiting your response.
Thank you.
What is Veterans Day?
Veterans Day is an American holiday that honors the men and women who have served honorably in the U.S. military.
Veterans Day is different from Memorial Day (celebrated the final Monday in May), which honors members of the military who died while serving.
Veterans Day originated on November 11, 1919, when U.S. President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed it Armistice Day to honor veterans of World War I.

You may have heard about a new program called “Test to Stay” which allows a path for students who have been deemed a close contact of a person who has tested positive for COVID-19, to remain in school. This program must be adopted by the local department of health and county government before a school could consider its implementation. As of now Schuyler County has not approved this program, but it is under consideration. If this program is adopted by our county we will share out specifics with our families.

Unfortunately today we saw our first positive cases of COVID-19 in quite some time. Let this serve as a reminder that the threat of COVID-19 is still very real and we need to remain vigilant in our precautions to keep one another safe and minimize disruption in schooling. Our local public health department recommends that wearing a mask, becoming vaccinated and disinfecting are all steps that can accomplish these goals.
Thank you to everyone for your continued support of our students and district. Go Braves!
