    Please have students participating in the marching band's performance at the Bradford Memorial Day Parade to the school no later than 9:15am on Saturday May 27th, 2017. They will be returning around 12pm. Please contact Allison Werner with any questions or concerns for this event.

A Board of Education member of the Bradford Central School District must meet the following qualifications:
 
   a)   A citizen of the United States;
   b)   Eighteen (18) years of age or older;
   c)   Able to read and write;
   d)   A legal resident one (1) year prior to the election;
   e)   Not an employee of the Bradford Central School District;
   f)   The only member of his/her household on the Bradford Central School District Board;
   g)   Not simultaneously holding another, incompatible public office;
   h)   Not having been removed from a school district office within one (1) year preceding the date of election to the Board.
 
Candidates for the office of member of the Board of Education shall be nominated by a petition to the Clerk of the school district which is signed by at least twenty-five (25) qualified voters of the District, or by two percent (2%) of the number of voters who voted in the previous annual election, whichever is greater. Petitions must state the residence of each signer, the name and residence of each candidate, and a description of the specific vacancy on the Board of Education for which the candidate is nominated including at least the length of the term of office and the name of the last incumbent, if any. Petitions nominating candidates for the Board must be filed with the Clerk of the district not later than the thirtieth (30) day preceding the election at which time the candidates so nominated are to be elected.
